“I think mainly of the words ‘love’ and ‘gratitude'”
Jim Parsons posted a photo of the front door of the apartment just before the last shoot on Instagram. “Thanks apartment 4A for the place where so many dreams came true and so many friendships were made,” says Parsons, who plays the character Sheldon Cooper. “It’s hard to put into words what kind of experience this has been. But I think mostly of the words ‘love’ and ‘gratitude’.”

Johnny Galecki, Leonard Hofstadter in the series, posted a photo of himself on the famous stairs of the apartment complex from The Big Bang Theory and had just before that also shared an image of the front door and a group photo. The latter was also done by Kaley Cuoco, better known as Penny. “Last group scene. It’s over,” she writes in a photo where the cast hugged each other. The last episode the cast made emotionally last week after going through the last script.
Party! Big Bang Theory picks sitcom record
Last August it was announced that The Big Bang Theory stops after twelve seasons. The comedy about four nerdy scientists and their handsome neighborhood girl has been one of the best watched programs on American television for years. Especially protagonist Jim Parsons became a big star thanks to the series. The seven protagonists each earned around 900,000 dollars per episode in the last year, a record.
The last episode of The Big Bang Theory will be aired in America on May 16.
