“The Big Bang Theory”: Emotional review of the series stars
One year ago the popular sitcom “The Big Bang Theory” ended. Stars of the series now look back and remember the funny time on set.

For twelve seasons, “The Big Bang Theory” thrilled loyal fans around the world. But even the most successful show must end one day. In the case of “TBBT”, the last flap fell in 2019 and officially ended the story of Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons), Leonard Hofstadter (Johnny Galecki), Penny (Kaley Cuoco), Howard Wolowitz (Simon Helberg), Raj Koothrappali (Kunal Nayyar), Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) and Amy Farrah Fowler (Mayim Bialik). On May 16, 2019, the final episode was shown on US television on the CBS channel. This year, the end of the series celebrated its first anniversary, and stars of “TBBT” used this occasion to look back and commemorate the wonderful time on set.

“TBBT” has changed Kaley Cuoco’s life
Actress Kaley Cuoco published a photo from the last scene of “The Big Bang Theory” season 12 and was very grateful to be part of this long lasting project. “A year ago we aired the BBT season finale … people ask me daily if it was hard to continue? Was I sad? Happy?” she writes in her Instagram post. “The truth is that the show has changed my life in 100 different ways and no matter where my career takes me, I will always owe it to this show and the people behind it. Finally, she also has a piece of advice for her fans that she takes to heart Never forget where you came from, but always keep your eyes on the prize.

“Everything is precious”
Their former co-star Kunal Nayyar is also using the anniversary to remember how the team last stood united in front of the camera together about a year ago. He posted a photo on his Instagram account that shows the stars hugging each other during a shooting break. Again and again there had been rumors that the actors didn’t get along well behind the scenes, but this picture seems to confirm the opposite. “This photo was taken exactly one year ago. Our last day of shooting, which was also my birthday,” he says. A lot has changed in the last twelve months, but not every change is equally bad, Nayyar points out. “Because at the end of the day everything is precious,” the 39-year-old philosophizes. As it was not only the final of “The Big Bang Theory” for him, but also his birthday, he had a special wish for his followers: he wished that they would tell people who had lost sight of them that they loved them.

The rest of the cast is very busy
Unfortunately, Kunal Nayyar and Kaley Cuoco were the only lead actors on Instagram for the first “The Big Bang Theory” anniversary. Johnny Galecki was silent on Instagram for the “TBBT” anniversary. In fact, throughout May, it was very quiet around the actor, who shared a photo of his small family – Galecki became father of a son in December – with the fans for the last time in April. Jim Parsons also had no chance for a little review. In the past weeks he has been busy promoting his new series “Hollywood”. Melissa Rauch was also too busy in May to remember the last day of shooting in 2019: She became the mother of little Brooks in May 2020.
